Stacy McNeiland is a very important part of the success of the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) as an institution. Stacy McNeiland has worked in UCO since she got her masters degree in 1995 and has proven her skills in management and leadership countless times. She began as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Communications and through hard work and professionalism, she was promoted to Executive Director for Community Outreach and Special Projects. As the Executive Director, she proved herself excellently capable of being the leader of more than 100 undergraduate students together with the student government body or the President’s Leadership Council.
Stacy McNeiland is also known for her project, Traditions 101, which serves as a university orientation program, a sort of freshman’s guide into the world of UCO. She also developed and helped implement policies for the university and authored several employment manuals. She is also quite knowledgeable in public relations and recruitment. One of the biggest achievements she got in her stay in UCO is the state-wide regional campaign which boosted the number of freshmen enrollees to 52% which is the highest in seven years.
